Kris J. Pierce created Pierce Group in 2003 with the focus of providing candidates, non-profits and non-political organizations with the resources to ensure victory in the goals they set. He believed that if you can provide organizations and people with all the resources they need to be successful in one place, then you give them more time to implement the strategic plans created rather than needing to focus on the details.
Kris has experience in working with candidates at all levels (Local, State Legislative, Statewide Office and Federal) as well as Issue Based Campaigns. Kris also consulted with Non-Profit organizations to enhance their development strategies. He expanded his experience by working with various organizations to represent and support their works at the community and governmental levels.
Kris put his organization on hold in 2007 when he accepted the challenge and responsibility as the Executive Director of the Douglas County Democratic Party in Omaha, Nebraska. The organization asked Kris to create and implement a plan to meet 3 goals:
Increase the Democratic Party by 10,000 new voters
Increase the fund raising capacity of the Party
Prepare the Party for the 2008 Election Cycle
Kris accomplished these goals and exceeded them:
With a 12,000 voter deficit to the Republican Party, Kris utilized the 2008 Nebraska Democratic Caucus and other strategies to not only surpass the goal of 10,000 voters but by October 24, 2008 the Douglas County Democratic Party surpassed the Republican Party by nearly 3000 voters to turn Douglas County BLUE.
One of Kris's first strategic steps was to create a Sustaining Donor program for the Douglas County Democratic Party. He also created 2 new fundraisers and enhanced the existing fund raisers and increase the fundraising by the County Party by 150%. He continues to support the Douglas County Democratic Party's fundraising program as a Consultant and Event Planner.
Kris and other local leaders recognized the importance of the 2008 elections for the Democratic Party not only at the National level but also the state and local levels. Kris's strategic plan for success began with the implementation of the 2008 Nebraska Democratic Caucus (February 2008). The Caucus brought over 14,000 participants and over 4000 Democratic voter registrations. This groundwork and other strategic plans brought history for Douglas County and Nebraska as it gained an Electoral College Vote for President Obama.
On December 1, 2008, Kris re-established Pierce Group Consultants in Omaha, Nebraska with a new vigor and energy.
